Design of Pudi

The building design of Pudi Boutique Hotel is clearly Art-Deco, a style that is similar to the earlier Art Nouveau style, but with a more modernist, almost timeless aesthetic  Whereas the interior reveals a varied mix, often a combination of classic colors as base and some brave vibrant colors to highlight the outlook of the hotel, resulting in an elegant, classic yet creative impression. The use of exotic materials and generous design lines create a luxurious, unique room decoration. Shapes tend towards geometric and cubic forms, incorporating a lot of contrasts, such as color palates of chrome and cobalt blue or crystal and black. Clean shapes and elegant lines are emphasized, with red copper used to add a strong Shanghai feel.

PIERRE MACIAG, hailing from France the chief designer of this hotel has created a uniquely special hotel with Chinese characteristics. He is good at building the classic, sublimate and gentler circumstance from a series of Chinese characteristics. This design enhances a strong impression of pure color with some assistance of contract and metal color to build a little western exaggeration visual impact.
